A Proposal Story That Already Had a Date

Harry and Ace’s Brisbane romantic proposal was never going to follow a traditional script, and that is exactly what made it so meaningful.

They had already chosen 5/5/25 as the date they wanted to mark their engagement. When the original engagement ring was delayed, they still wanted to honour the moment, so they became engaged at home together with a temporary ring. It was intimate, personal and completely true to them.

But when the real ring arrived, Harry wanted to create something bigger. Not just another proposal, but a beautiful second moment they could celebrate properly, capture on camera and share with the people who love them.

Ace knew part of what was happening, but Harry still wanted the experience to feel special. He wanted Ace to be surprised, proud and completely blown away by what had been created.

That is where the planning became important.

Rather than treating this as a traditional surprise proposal, we helped shape the experience around what the moment actually meant for them. This was about honouring the date they had already chosen, celebrating the real ring and giving them a setting that felt worthy of their story.

Overflow Estate gave the proposal a peaceful Brisbane backdrop, with the lake, open space and natural scenery creating the perfect setting for a more romantic and personal engagement celebration. The styling was kept soft, elegant and romantic, with white florals, candles and a floral heart arbour creating a clean, timeless look.

It was grand enough to feel unforgettable, but still gentle enough to keep the focus on Harry and Ace.

A Brisbane Romantic Proposal with White Florals, Photography and Videography

For this Brisbane romantic proposal, the styling needed to feel romantic without overpowering the meaning behind the day.

The white floral heart arbour became the centrepiece of the setup, positioned beside the lake at Overflow Estate. Around it, layers of white roses, soft greenery, candles and gold candle stands created a polished and elegant proposal space. The overall look was fresh, refined and emotional, with enough impact to make the moment feel completely different from their private engagement at home.

Harry and Ace arrived dressed beautifully, with the soft neutral tones of their outfits matching the white floral styling perfectly. The proposal moment itself felt calm and heartfelt. Harry knelt in front of Ace with the real ring, giving them the chance to relive the question in a setting that felt designed just for them.

Afterwards, they had time to enjoy the space together. They took portraits in front of the arbour, walked by the lake, shared champagne and let the whole experience settle in. Because they had photography and videography included, the day was captured from both perspectives: the still, romantic portraits and the movement of the moment as it unfolded.

That was especially important for this proposal. This was not only something they wanted to remember privately. It was also the moment they could proudly use to announce their engagement socially.

From the lakeside proposal to the ring close-ups, champagne moments and relaxed portraits around Overflow Estate, the experience gave Harry and Ace a full story to share. Their proposal was not about pretending the first moment never happened. It was about adding another chapter to it.

A meaningful date. The real ring. A beautiful Brisbane location. A white floral setting. And a celebration that finally felt complete.
