Teagan and Chloe’s relationship has always been built on love, loyalty and quiet moments shared together—so when Teagan decided it was time to propose, she knew the moment had to feel personal, intimate and beautifully natural. During their trip to Sydney with Chloe’s family, Teagan secretly planned a luxury garden proposal, a European-inspired venue known for its charming architecture, stone paths and romantic atmosphere.
Teagan requested for a a soft and elegant setup featuring lots of white flowers and candles, along with a simple picnic setting. She wanted something timeless—beautiful but not overdone. Inspired by a previous setup but wishing to make it her own, she requested no arch or elaborate décor—just a romantic setting that reflected their style and love story. With a 3–4pm afternoon time, the scene would be lit by warm golden light, setting the perfect mood.
Every part of this garden proposal was designed to reflect who they were as a couple—elegant, grounded, and full of heart. From the soft floral details to the golden afternoon light, the setup struck the perfect balance between intimacy and sophistication. It set the stage beautifully for what would soon become one of the most emotional and unforgettable moments of their lives.
A Surprise Proposal with Family and Heart
To keep everything a surprise, Teagan enlisted the help of Chloe’s family, who were already part of their Sydney trip. Together, they planned a believable cover story to get Chloe to the venue without suspicion—something casual and relaxed, like stopping by a beautiful estate for a “quick afternoon walk and photos before dinner.” Chloe had no idea that behind the scenes, her dream proposal was being created with care.
When they arrived at the garden, music began to play—“Wash” by Bon Iver, one of their favourite songs. Teagan led her through winding paths before arriving at the beautifully styled picnic surrounded by white roses and soft candlelight. The moment felt still and emotional—just the two of them, surrounded by nature.
With tears in her eyes, Teagan shared how much she loved Chloe, how sure she was of forever—and asked her to marry her. Chloe said YES without hesitation, holding Teagan close as the sun dipped lower behind the gardens. Their photographer captured emotional candid moments—laughter, tears and pure love—as they celebrated becoming fiancées.
